Our mission is to strengthen the lives of individuals with disabilities by creating inclusive opportunities for community involvement, access to meaningful employment, and better options for independent living.
Volunteering at IC
Inclusion Connections is a Johnson County, Kansas nonprofit which works with youth with developmental disabilities. We also offer a unique Peer Mentor program open to teen and young adult volunteers. Our goal is to create an inclusive atmosphere in our community.
Service Dog Training
Through our partnership with Paws for Freedom, members and peers are involved in the hands-on training of service dogs. Once a dog is trained, Paws for Freedom finds an appropriate individual for placement. People with developmental disabilities helping people with physical disabilities!
Coming Soon: IC PawsAbilities, a program which will make and distribute dog treats and toys.
