NDSS President Visits IC

Sarah Hart Weir, President of the National Down Syndrome Society, joined Inclusion Connections’ Executive Director, Debbie Horn, and supporters for an Olathe Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on October 20, 2016 at the IC Activity Center on Santa Fe. Olathe Mayor Michael E. Copeland also attended and spoke in support of IC PawsAbilities, a new program which offers young adult high school graduates opportunities to experience hands-on job skills baking, packaging, marketing and delivery dog treats and toys. Inclusion Connections serves more than 100 individuals with developmental disabilities with EmployAbility (job skills and employment), CreateAbility (arts and theater), Healthy Living (cooking, nutrition, exercise, life skills), and Summer Camp.
