Greg Highbarger, Principal Owner at h|d Architecture and architect of BelongKC, is proud to support Matthew Horn. Matthew has been part of Inclusion Connections since the very beginning as his mom is the Executive Director who started it all. Over the past 13 years, Matthew has grown with IC, enjoys working alongside staff, building friendships, and finding opportunities to thrive in the community. Today, he balances multiple part-time jobs—at Streamline Insurance, Spin Pizza, Cardinal Brush, and most recently at Betty Rae’s Ice Cream. Matthew dreams of taking business trips and living at BelongKC with his friends. When he isn’t working, he enjoys painting, creating movies, and—just like Greg—building with Legos.

    Inclusion Connections empowers young adults with developmental disabilities to pursue their goals and thrive. From job training and employment at PawsAbilities, to theater, arts, and fitness programs, to the future BelongKC supportive living community, every program is designed to build independence and belonging.

    FashionAbility is our signature fundraiser that makes these life-changing opportunities possible and every team on the runway represents the dreams of our students.
