Why Your Support Matters to Joe, Marcy & Paulina

Joe Riedel, VP of Business Development at Straub Construction, and Marcy Riedel of St. Luke’s Health, are returning to Top Model after participating last year, inspired by how much fun it was and the platform it provides to raise awareness about the amazing students at Inclusion Connections. This year they are cheering on Paulina Quattrone-Hernandez, who has been part of IC for 7 years. Paulina loves seeing her friends and making dog toys at PawsAbilities, and she works at Sweet Tees, where she enjoys helping others and learning new things every day. She dreams of traveling to Hawaii again and in her free time enjoys Special Olympics, watching movies and spending time with friends.

    Inclusion Connections empowers young adults with developmental disabilities to pursue their goals and thrive. From job training and employment at PawsAbilities, to theater, arts, and fitness programs, to the future BelongKC supportive living community, every program is designed to build independence and belonging.

    FashionAbility is our signature fundraiser that makes these life-changing opportunities possible and every team on the runway represents the dreams of our students.

    Your donation doesn’t just support an event — it changes lives. A gift of $50 provides transportation so a student can get to work. With $100, you can cover an entire week of job coaching. A contribution of $250 opens the door for students to take part in arts and fitness programs that build confidence and friendships.
