Sarah Owings and Katie Hilty, both leaders at Netsmart, are joining forces to champion Inclusion Connections and its mission of empowering young adults with disabilities to live, work, and thrive independently. Their passion for advocacy and community aligns perfectly with IC’s heart for inclusion. They’re thrilled to partner with student Katie Pine, whose creativity shines through her love of theatre, decorating treats at PawsAbilities, and writing stories in her free time. Katie works as a hostess at Chili’s and Olive Garden, proudly building her independence while dreaming of one day living on her own and pursuing her dream job as a singer.

    Inclusion Connections empowers young adults with developmental disabilities to pursue their goals and thrive. From job training and employment at PawsAbilities, to theater, arts, and fitness programs, to the future BelongKC supportive living community, every program is designed to build independence and belonging.

    FashionAbility is our signature fundraiser that makes these life-changing opportunities possible and every team on the runway represents the dreams of our students.
